Compassionate, Knowledgeable, Experienced.

Public service requires trust, oversight, prudence, responsibility, compassion, and a willingness to sacrifice and work hard for the country and state that I cherish so dearly. I am an elected public trustee and am proud to wear that badge with honor as a conservative.

I am currently a Trustee on the Round Rock Independent District School Board and a Board Member of the Capital Area Economic Development District.

During my service as Trustee of the Round Rock Independent School District I have:

  • Been instrumental in keeping the amount the bond requests down to a reasonable amount (the failed bond, which I voted against, was a staggering $349 million for 4 schools and a long wish list—the passed bond was $267.6 million and we got 6 new schools and money for fixing our existing schools!)

  • Voted to use $.02 of the RRISD debt service fund to buy down the tax debt rate from $.36 to $.34 and brought the rate down to $.30 in 2006.

  • Caught a discrepancy in the amount of bonds to be sold (overage) on the approval documents just before the vote was taken by the RRISD School Board.

  • Questioned proposals for spending fund balance money and the amounts requested in order to keep our fund balance healthy for the budget crunches that are looming on the horizon due to problems with state school finance.

  • Passed policy, which is local law

  • Approved tax rates

As your steward, I promise to remain faithful to the conservative moral and fiscal values I hold close to my heart. I have a strong work ethic and will strive to put forth public policy that pushes Texas back into a path of fiscal judiciousness.

Common sense cannot be replaced with platitudes and political correctness run amok. You need a strong, fearless, Republican with a law-and-order approach that will truly represent you in District 52.

I ask for your vote in the Republican Primaries this coming March.
